Building Permits
Village Ordinance requires most construction projects to obtain a building permit prior to beginning construction within Lake Tanglewood boundaries. Failure to obtain a permit may result in a substantial fine.
To obtain a Building Permit, a member must submit a Building Permit application and supplement documents (outlined in the application). Building Permit applications are available at Village Hall, Lake Tanglewood Corporation Office (LSIOT), or online at www.laketanglewood.org
Completed applications and documents may be emailed or dropped off in person to Village Hall or the LSIOT Office.
Building Permit applications must be submitted no later than noon on the Friday of the week prior to the Building Committee Meeting to be considered.
Roofing Permits can be obtained during normal business hours, with the submission of a Roofing Permit application.
*may be subject to change

Exciting things are happening at the Lake. We had a successful fishing tournament. If you want to belong to the LT Anglers Club, call Steve Camarata at 290-8872 or Jim Rogers at 670-5727. In May, Lions Club had speakers from Coffee Memorial Blood bank & Texas Cattle Feeders. Both speakers were very informative. Lions Club will sponsor a blood drive on June 20, 6-8 pm at the Community Center. Please come & give a pint; you will save a life. Our Russell Activity Center is almost complete. An open house is planned in June to celebrate the completion; date TBA. Our community is invited to join us and see our wonderful facilities. People who use the activity center need to be sure and leave it clean; there will not be a hired person to cleanup after people. If you need a flag before the July 4th celebration, stop by the office and buy one. Don’t miss any of the activities on July 4th. Fun times for kids and adults. See the calendar in next month’s newsletter for the times and dates of the activities. July 6th will be the fireworks and golf tournament. You can use the online computer to list your guests for that week.
