David Doshier, Amy Slatton, and Joe Paul were elected to fill the three open positions on the Board of Directors. There were six candidates running for the board and we would like to thank each one for volunteering to serve. Special thanks to outgoing Board President Peter Gleason. Peter has served two terms on the Board of Directors and twice as President. Mr. Gleason has played a very important role in making improvements to the community while on the Board. Our new toll tag gate system is fully operational. We are still working out a few adjustments, so thank you for your patience while making this transition. The new gate system should greatly enhance our security at the main entrance. Please remember to slow down while driving through the gate area. As we head further into winter, remember to watch the temperature, and take care of your people, pets, and pipes. Bring your pets inside and check on the elderly. Also, when temperatures get down to single digits and stay below freezing; it helps to leave a faucet inside the house dripping slowly to prevent freezing - especially where water lines are located on an outside wall. Don’t forget to come join us at the Restaurant. The daily specials are posted on Facebook and the Sunday brunch is from 9am to 1pm weekly with the “Best Omelet in Town”. Our restaurant also makes excellent soups daily. Community events and special days to mark on your calendar: February 10 th – “Little Sweet Hearts” Valentine’s Dance February 14 th – Valentine’s Day February 25 th – Lions Club Chili Supper at the Community Center Sincerely, Jeff Baker LSIOT, Inc. hello, hackers and swingers. I’ve said it before but here it is again, baby it’s cold outside.refer to picture.I think if you look closely you can see harold bradford and Dave Thompson playing on number three. We had an informative meeting on December 3rd and reinforced decisions to plant trees ASAP and repair or replace some of our cart paths, and finish our driving range. Iwould like to invite everyone again to attend the golf Association quarterly meetings at harborpoint café. GOOD tIMeS. We will be hosting this year six scrambles. Along with a party or two for the lake tanglewood residence. These are all significant fun raisers for this organization. Some of our funds go to help other organizations that request our assistance. Scrambles this year will be on or about these dates. Spring fling April 7 memorial day in late May, fourth of July to be announced, August 18 club championships, and our annual Labor Day scramble. These are all tentative dates please watch the marquee. Just a couple of notes and I will say goodnight. Mike Shafer and Dave Thompson scored hole in one this winter. Please let me know if you or someone you know has accomplished the same feet we will be glad to include the names of such heros Keep on swinging roger turNer, President Lt GA.
