i-TRAVEL i-EXPLORE (ITEX), (September 03-08) a visual and experiential tour for Buyers that will bring them to key destinations of the country. By actually experiencing what Philippine suppliers have to offer, Buyers can form impressions which are critical to their decision making. OBJECTIVES:
To provide a venue for foreign buyers of travel products to discuss business with Philippine tourism suppliers;
Entice buyers to include the Philippines in their tour programs or expand their existing tour programs of the archipelago; and
Generate maximum exposure of the Philippine destinations to key target markets and launch packages designed for niche markets.

the tinikling is the a folk dance of the Philippines. The tinikling is an indigenous dance from the Philippines that involves two people beating, tapping, and sliding bamboo poles on the ground and against each other in coordination with one or more dancers who step over and in between the poles in a dance. The name is a reference to birds locally known as tikling, which can be any of a number of Rail species; the term tinikling literally means “tikling-like”
