TRAIN SECURITY SYSTEM

The system utilizes a track unit and atrain unit. The track unit will notify the

train unit about the situation of thetrain ahead of it with warnings. When

the distance between the trains getsdangerously small despite being givenadvance warning the train unit iscapable of applying emergency brakes.The track unit is also equipped with aloop sensor which checks thecontinuity of the tracks and warns the

train unit about a break in the track atany point. The link between the trackunit and the train unit is on RF (433MHz).
