FREE VISA
A 30-day free visa is available at a selection of arrival/departure locations in Indonesia for a limited amount of
countries. This visa is non-extendable and non-exchangeable. Indonesia offers a free 30 days (including arrival
and departure date) non-extendable visa (for tourism purposes only) to citizens of the following countries:

Requirements for a ‘Free Visa’ for short visits:
Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months as from the date of entry into Indonesia
Onward or return tickets are compulsory
Visitors on Visa-Free Short Visits MUST enter and exit from certain airports and seaports in Indonesia as
mentioned below:

Important:
If you enter Indonesia on a ‘free visa’, the visa is non-extendable and only valid for 30 days which includes the day of arrival and the day of departure
If you are on a ‘free visa’ you must enter and exit only from the above mentioned airports and seaports in Indonesia

PAID VISA ON ARRIVAL A 30-day visa-on-arrival is available at all international airports in Indonesia for USD 35. It is then possible to extend
this visa for an additional 30 days (including arrival and departure date) at the immigration office. Official price is USD 35, extension takes a minimum of 7 working days and often longer and can’t be processed at the airport. Please see details below regarding the paid visa on arrival procedures.

All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of passport valid for at least six months from date of arrival and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage.

PAYMENT FOR VISA ON ARRIVAL Payment of visa fees can be made in all major currencies (cash or credit card). However, to avoid any difficulties or abusive exchange rate problems, we highly recommend bringing USD 35 in cash.
EXTENSION OF VISA ON ARRIVAL
Visa extension can be done at the Immigration Office (Jimbaran in Bali) and will take minimum of 7 working days and often longer
Cost is additional 35 USD for another 30 Days (including arrival and departure date).
Maximum stay is 60 Days (including arrival and departure date) For all other countries: Travelers from all destinations not listed above must have their visa arranged in advance
through their local consulate.
