November 6th and 7
th, 2020

The American Autonomic Society (AAS) began in 1990 as a joint patient-scientist organization with a purpose to bring together physicians, scientists and patients to improve the understanding and treatment of disorders that affect the autonomic nervous system. The Society has grown to over 200 members from diverse disciplines (including neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, endocrinology, urology) that share an interest in the structure and function of the autonomic nervous system and the pathology, treatment, and prevention of autonomic disorders.
Autonomic disorders affect an estimated 30-50 million people. The AAS focuses on the education of generalist physicians and other care providers through workshops, seminars, and publications on the various disorders of autonomic function. Clinical guidelines are also provided to define the standards of care.
The Society sponsors an annual symposium attracting up to 250 clinicians and researchers annually. This meeting provides a unique and powerful way to foster communication across disciplinary lines to increase scientific collaboration and advance therapies for autonomic disorders. The symposium normally consists of plenary presentations, thematic scientific sessions, case-based discussions, educational workshops and posters. The meeting is accredited by the ACCME.
An exhibit section has been established within the virtual platform to provide a way to maximize your access to attendees. Whether your goal is branding, generating leads or increasing your visibility, your virtual presence at the symposium will allow you to reach a large number of AAS members and interested meeting participants. We would like for your organization to be included and recognized as a part of this event. The following information will outline how your organization can partner with us and contribute to the success of this unique meeting.
The AAS is a non-profit organization with tax ID number 62-1568172. We appreciate your support of this important educational activity. Checks should be made payable to the “American Autonomic Society” and mailed to Amber Millen at the address listed at the end of this prospectus.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
Satish R. Raj, M.D., M.S.C.I. President, American Autonomic Society
Due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic and social
distancing requirements, AAS has opted for a virtual format for the
2020 annual symposium using the Whova platform.

The Physician Payment Sunshine Act imposes a high standard of
transparency across a broad swath of activities by pharmaceutical,
biotechnology, and other medical product companies (referred to
as manufacturers in the Act). The Act requires industry to disclose
a wide range of payments and transfer of value (TOV) to
physicians and other healthcare providers. The reporting took
effect August 1, 2013, when manufacturers must keep records of
all payments and TOV. The PPSA requires that every report of a
payment or TOV must be accompanied by the name of the
recipient, which is posted to the public Web site.
Wording that must appear in invitation letters, flyers, and other
