This course aims to enable CAA senior and middle managers to plan, manage and continuously monitor the implementation of ICAO SARPs in their States.

LEARNING OBJECTIVESUpon completion of the course, participants will be able to: • Develop a strategy to comply with ICAO SARPS• Manage the implementation of national requirements• Monitor compliance with ICAO SARPs

TARGET POPULATION

1. Senior and middle managers of State’s CAAs in charge of operations in the main technical divisions/sections/departments related to direct implementation of ICAO SARPs as per ICAO Annexes;

2. Senior and middle managers of state’s CAAs in charge of support operations for ICAO SARPs successful implementation;

3. Senior and middle managers of Airport Authorities and Air Navigation Service Providers directly managed by CAAs.

Delivery Mode: Blended course (Introductory Online module (2 hrs) + Virtual classroom (32 hrs). Case study approach, with progress and mastery tests.

Language of instruction: English

Note: Online Introductory module is a pre-requisite for Virtual Classroom.

• Computer/ laptop (Windows 7.0 or higher or Mac 10.10. or higher) per participant with multimedia capabilities for interaction (audio, microphone, web camera)

Linux: Firefox 27+, Chrome 30+• Teleconferencing software: Any teleconferencing software selected and managed by the Instructor in
