• All prisons were involved in the project

• Difficulties with negativity towards the VC

• Overcome problems where VC was not up and running or working

• Wider approach to the piloting activities rather than focus on one specific area

• Cross establishment working – developmental and evaluating

• Built a strong network of like minded practitioners with student needs at heart

Next Step

• Continue with the regional meetings. Next planned for 19th July – moving forwards quarterly. Reviewing and developing content, developing quality of provision across the region

• Learner evaluation work to continue

• Increase the overall tutor engagement with the VC

• Introduce the prison and partners to VC and its potential

• Peer evaluation work

• Would like to see a dedicated person who has the ability to aid tutors in developing content
