What is a “Bump it Up Wall”?

0 A visual reference that displays leveled student work

0 Allows students to independently recognize what areas of their work need improvement

0 Used in conjunction with a rubric

0 Students become involved in the evaluation process and learn to rank assignments

0 Provides a forum to have a discussion on how to “deconstruct” an assignment

For Students:

Step One: Scan The Work0 Generally speaking, a “Virtual Bump it Up Wall” works best when the files are saved as a *.pdf

0 Files open on all computers quickly and easily

0 Files are then stored in the “Web Locker”, which can be found in the Advanced tab0 This is best organized by creating a subfolder

0 Note the URL of the stored *.pdf file
