Registration is open to everyone- shop owners, spouses, children, key managers,

events on the schedule (except golf is extra) and includes the Friday Reception,

evening Buffet Dinner, the Saturday Reception during the Trade Expo, and the

11:00 am- 4:00 pm The VAA Open - Golf Tournament at The Old Course Plan to join us for one of our most popular events, The VAA Open. Shotgun start promptly at

11:00 am. Cost: $130 per player, includes green fee, range balls, cart, box lunch. For all levels of

play, don’t miss this chance to have some fun while networking with dealers and suppliers. If

6:30 pm– 8:00 pm Welcome Reception Join your fellow dealers and suppliers for our opening gala reception. We will have open bars and light hors d’oeuvres for your

enjoyment. Dinner is on your own and advance reservations are required.

Saturday, April 25:

8:00 am– 9:00 am Annual Meeting, and Opening Keynote Address by Kevin Rohlwing After our Annual Meeting, Kevin Rohlwing, Senior VP of Training at TIA, will present “Tire & Automotive Service for

the Next Generation”. Our industry has experienced more changes in the last decade than anyone has ever seen.

Successful shops must be proactive in every facet of their operation, and this session will outline the challenges that

the industry is currently facing. Topics will include: Creating Brand awareness in the Digital Age, Attracting Future

Tire and Auto Service Buyers, Vehicle Ownership Trends and more. This fast paced session is certain to provide

attendees with a better understanding of what to expect as the industry enters a new decade.

session, Dave will explore emerging hybrid and electric vehicle technology, current trends, and future forecasts.

He will also look at revenue opportunities from the perspective of the independent shop, and how to build

relationships with hybrid and electric vehicle customers.

11:00 am-12:30 pm Special Session for Counter Sales & Service Managers with Bryan Stasch

Join Bryan Stasch, VP of Program & Content Development for ATI for “Objective or Subjective Selling? What’s the

difference? What’s your Style?”. In this session, you will walk away knowing the difference between objective

versus subjective selling. Also which one customers prefer, and which is more effective. Bryan will show you The

WHY??, The WHEN??, Identifying Buying Types, Educating Customers and more. He will also include an update on

Digital Inspections.

11:00 am - 12:30 pm Special Peer to Peer Roundtable for Owners/Key Managers

Complying with Wage & Hour Regulations moderated by Bill Ford Sesco President Bill Ford will conduct this closed presentation for owners and key managers on the topic of

complying with wage and hour regulations. A recent article in Modern Tire Dealer highlighting a dealer who was

significantly fined for non compliance, has sparked questions in our industry and within the VAA. Bill will be

discussing the specific case as referenced to include the compliance issues and how this case may apply to your

organization. He will also be providing tips on how to comply with the rules and regulations. As part of our open

Roundtable format, there will be the opportunity for questions, answers and discussion, so bring your specific pay

practice questions.
