PROJECTS Waffle Block, Apr. 2015 – Jun. 2015 - Designed a stove top waffle iron that makes a waffle in the shape of a 6x6 grid of separable and stackable blocks. - Modeled on SolidWorks and used HSMWorks to generate CNC toolpaths and operations. - Machined out of aluminum on a Hass VF-1 CNC machine, hard anodized, and integrated with stainless steel components. - Designed and fabricated a “side-by-side” telepresence system for technical support between SAP support and customers. - Developed product over two quarters of needfinding, benchmarking, prototyping, and user testing. - Managed all project aspects with sponsor, local team, and 4 students from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

Sumo Bot, Feb. 2013 – Mar. 2013 - Designed a mechatronic robot to use infrared sensing to drive an enemy robot off a platform. - Manufactured robot using lasercut duron and 4 DC motors powered by a 7.2V battery. - Featured beacon sensor circuit and motor driver circuit controlled through the Arduino platform.
