Baptism is offered the second full weekend of every month at the North Campus (except June-July due to annual picnic baptism in June). Baptism class is required and offered at the start of every ser-vice on the third full weekend of the month. Meet in North Campus Room 133. Registration is not required, please attend the class of your choice.

Communion is served the first full weekend of every month.

Prayer Requests: Please let us know if you are going in the hos-pital, having a procedure done, or have any pastoral care needs. Please call the church office at 816.734.8100.

How do I become a member of Vineyard Church and learn what it is all about? You are invited to attend Vineyard 101 - Connecting with the Vineyard. Option 1: Saturday, October 20, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the East Auditorium, or Option 2: Two Thursdays, Oct. 18 & 25, 6:30-8:15 p.m. Register online at www.vineyardkcnorth.com.

How do I join a small group? Easy. Check out the Journey Guide located in the Information Center. Contact the leader of the group you want to join or e-mail jcoleman@vineyardkcnorth.com. There’s a group that’s just right for you!

How do I get prayer for something specific? A prayer team is available to pray for you after every Celebration Service in the front of the Auditorium. Prayer Request cards are available in the chair backs. Fill out the card and drop it in the offering. The pastoral staff and prayer team pray over these requests.

KOTV Kids On The Vine (3 months-grade 5) Children’s week-end Worship Celebrations–where we show kids the love of Jesus. Includes group worship with singing and age-appropriate teaching. Check in at the KOTV desk at both campuses.

AWANA (age 3-grade 5): Helping kids to know, love, and serve Jesus through Bible lessons and Scripture memo-ry, all while having fun! Meets Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. throughout the school year. JR. HIGH STUDENTSH2O (grades 6-8) Jr. High students meet for worship and interactive teaching. Check the calen-dar inside for times at both campuses.

Connect Wednesday (grades 6-12) meets Wednesdays in North Campus Room 131, 6:30-8 p.m. Youth meet for worship and small groups through the school year. Students sign up for their small group choice at Connect Wednesday. This Fall our Discipleship and Small Group options are: • Case for Christ: Investigative journalist and atheist, Lee

Strobel decided to investigate Jesus for himself. Join him in his journey from skepticism to faith.

• Case for Faith: Teens are on the frontlines everyday de-fending Christianity. Their friends ask tough questions. Lee Strobel provides biblically solid answers in contemporary language, with charts, illustrations, and stories that clarify abstract truths.

• Family Matters: Divorce through the eyes of a teen. This group is designed to give hope and restoration to teens hurt-ing from the changes of divorce.

Back-2-School Bash & Muckfest (grades 6-12): Saturday, September 15 from 6-10 p.m. for youth and their friends. The entry fee is $10 per person. There will be games, prizes, a concert, special guests "Team Xtreme," and "The Food Fight" (please wear old clothes). Vineyard Golfers meets Fridays 5-7 p.m. at Shoal Creek golf course. Rachel's Vineyard Retreat is September 14-16. This week-end retreat offers an opportunity for healing for any man or woman who has struggled with emotional or spiritual pain after the choice of abortion. The retreat gives you a chance, in a non-judgmental environment, to begin healing and experience God's love and compassion. Married couples are encouraged to attend. Participation is strictly confidential. Cost is $175 for meals, pri-vate room, and all retreat materials. Financial assistance avail-able. Food Pantry: Serve a couple of times monthly on Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday mornings from 9-11:30 a.m. to put food away and to assist families needing food. If interested contact Denise Bearce at 816.734.8100.

Meals Ministry is looking for people who have a heart to help those who need meals because of an illness, surgery, or child birth.
