Race 1 1. CUPIDON FOR EVER - Very consistent type that is rarely far from the action. Comes here fresh and could well pick up a cheque

2. COOK STAR - Made a modest comeback here late last month under the saddle and unlikely to shake things up

3. CLYDE DE LA ROCHE - Acquits himself well for the most part. Has two races under his belt this term and with shoes off this time can make a good go of it

4. COBRA AR CARAC - Hardy sort that has been on a good roll since the spring. Well-beaten second to Colt Des Essarts here last time but can still make the first five

5. CRISTAL DU PERCHE - Occasionally tricky but otherwise very hard to fault

when barefoot. Won a similar race at Enghien last time and should again figure prominently

6. CHO OYU VEDAQUAIS - Delicate but has considerable talent. Is proven under these conditions and if applied can challenge for a place in the frame

7. CAID - Erratic type that has found the going tough of late and can be ruled out

8. CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - Useful on a good day but rarely threatening. Should be fully fit by now and even with shoes off will still need to be at his best

9. COLT DES ESSARTS - Won three from four before going for a spell. Thrashed the opposition here on comeback early November and should confirm

10. CRUSOE D'ANAMA - Respectable trotter that always gives his best but unraced for past two months and will need the run

11. COLORADO BLUE - Has not been seen out since winning an Enghien claimer mid-August and can be ruled out

12. CAPITAL CHARM - Not the most reliable of horses. Disappointing here last week and not a player

13. COFFEE LOOK D'EAM - Very useful at this level of competition and seldom disappoints at the venue. Third start back and worth a small consideration

14. CHOOMY DELADOU - Back in business following a pair of blips. Has a decent record at Vincennes and should again make his presence felt

15. CELUI DES ROMAINS - Undeniably capable but has been struggling this year and others preferred

16. CHTIOT DE BELLANDE - Decent trotter that was not disgraced in a Class A here earlier in the month. Hind shoes off this time and should generate some interest

Summary After taking a well-earned break (9) COLT DES ESSARTS met no resistance over the long course here on comeback and looks eminently capable of picking up another success. That said, he will still be up against the ever-consistent (5) CRISTAL DU PERCHE who has hardly set a foot wrong all year. Although complicated (6) CHO OYU VEDAQUAIS is a quality trotter and with stride in check should be able to finish in the mix. (14) CHOOMY DELADOU is back on track and together with (4) COBRA AR CARAC can fill the minor-money spots.

Race 2 1. BINKY - Often a case of all-or-nothing. Sanctioned in the race of reference but back with Bazire with whom he has already imposed and has a major role to play if he can keep his stride in check

2. BIR HAKEIM - Winner of his only start over course and distance. Ended a poor run of form when third at Bordeaux ten days ago but others still preferred

3. BILTO DE LAIGNER - Has pleased for the most part since the summer. In better company this time but worth keeping an eye on

4. BONCHAMP GEDE - Highly consistent trotter. Rarely seen at Vincennes these days but in current shape should make his presence felt

5. BACHAR - Blows hot and cold but seldom makes any impact at Vincennes and is not about to change his ways

6. BINGO DE COSSE - Acquitted himself well to finish sixth here earlier in the month. Hind shoes off this time though and could pick up a small stake

7. BOLIDE DU GUET - Boasts a respectable record under these conditions. Fourth here last time and even in the absence of Barrier will generate interest

8. BE COOL D'EB - Good dual-purpose horse that finished second on his only harness start over course and distance. Presently enjoying a rewarding run and worth noting

9. BELPHEGOR DU PAJ - In form and proven at this level. Unshod behind this time and looks a player

10. BOSS DE BAUDRAIRIE - In fine shape since his return to competition. Beat a number of others here when second over course and distance three weeks ago and can go one better

11. BEN DE TORVIC - Like a horse reborn since starting to race unshod all four. A place behind Boss De Baudrairie here earlier in the month and is not incapable of imposing this time

12. BLACK JACK FROM - Useful on a good day. Fifth in the race of reference but will struggle to make the first five this time

13. BOIS DU BOSNET - Useful type that has two races under his belt since the spell. Is barefoot this time and must be afforded respect

14. BALISTO DE MAY - Previously a good sort but tends to show more in the provinces these days and will have little to offer

15. BUZZ SLY - Hardy sort that regularly gives his best but unseen since August and will need the outing

16. BEL AUTEUR - Nothing to like on his formsheet since winning a minor event late winter and can be ruled out

Summary (10) BOSS DE BAUDRAIRIE has not once failed to produce the goods over course and distance and after an excellent performance here earlier in the month is sure to garner significant support. He can still expect to face opposition from the reinvigorated (11) BEN DE TORVIC who finished a place behind that day. The erratic (1) BINKY fell prey to stride problems but is reunited with Jean-Michel Bazire which could prove key to his redemption. If (9) BELPHEGOR DU PAJ can reproduce his latest Enghien effort he could well finish in the mix, as could (4) BONCHAMP GEDE given how well he has been acquitting himself of late.

3. BEAU MEC DU VIF - Complicated type that has shown more in the claiming division recently and after two straight sanctions is not easy to trust

4. BISE - Yet to win in this discipline. Current form lacking and chances slim at best

5. CESAR TURGOT - Dependability not his strong suit. Form not in doubt but still not easy to back

6. CESSILAC - Tends to give a good account but is fully shod for his return to competition and no danger

7. BLEUET DU GASSEL - Modest individual with better form in the amateur category and not an obvious choice

8. BULIANO - Solid in recent months when racing barefoot. Pleased recently at Le Croise-Laroche and will have his supporters

9. BISOU CLAUDE - Has shown some improvement of late. Recently won on turf and from the front line can give this a good go

10. BUENO VERDERIE - Surprise fifth in a claimer here last month and recently confirmed at Strasbourg. On the back line this time though and chances limited

11. BAKLOV DE VANDEL - Very modest trotter that was trounced in a claimer here last month and not a realistic proposition

12. BRAVE ATOUT - Decent sort that won his only start at Vincennes. Recently returned from his break and with shoes off looks a serious player

13. BOYLOTIN - Has made excellent progress over past two months but incurs the penalty here and no more than a minor place chance

14. COSMOS PERRINE - Gave a good account in last two claiming races and latterly over shorter here. Opposition not as tough this time and could well finish in the frame

15. BOSS DE HOUELLE - Erratic but won an Enghien claimer on penultimate start and on similar form can again figure prominently

16. BOSS DU MARNY - Seldom seen in the winners' enclosure but is in form and the drop in class could prove just the ticket

Summary

After 70 races and just one success the time has come for (16) BOSS DU MARNY to be dropped in class and considering his present form could trot away with the silverware. (12) BRAVE ATOUT scored on his only appearance at Vincennes and after a comeback run three weeks ago he is barefoot this time and appears to have a good hand to play. (15) BOSS DE HOUELLE has reliability issues but did score at this level last month and in this modest bunch will again have his chances. (14) COSMOS PERRINE has shown more in this class lately and can be assured some support. (8) BULIANO starts 25m in front though and should confirm his recent effort at Le Croise-Laroche.

Race 4 1. DEFI - Has looked a different horse since going barefoot. Surprisingly below-par at Lyon last time but should bounce back with a better performance this time around

2. DICTATEUR DE PLAY - Respectable sort on a good day. Recently reassured at Maure but still has more to find

3. DIVIN DE BOUGY - Consistently out of the first three for the past 15 months and can be ruled out

4. DISCO D'OCCAGNES - Improving sort that pulled off a fine win at Amiens last time. Is ideally placed behind the car and should double up

5. DESIREZ MOI - Has looked very ordinary since the layoff and needs to reaffirm

6. DAN JOSSELYN - Scandinavian import that has taken well to French conditions. Third here early November and should give another competitive account

7. DREAM MAKER - Has placed just once from eleven starts this year and will generate little interest

8. DORENO DES PLAINES - Has done nothing noteworthy for the past two years and offers little hope

9. DAUPHIN DU MAXFRAN - Unimpressive in all three since the break. Returns to his track of preference though and will have his supporters

10. DEFI DU FOSSE - Solid since his return last August. Pleased at La Capelle last time but in this company will need to find more

11. DRAGON DU KAHEL - Delicate but has ample ability. Would have finished close here earlier in the month had he not faulted and on good behaviour can go close

12. DERBY DES VAUCHAUX - Has shown good consistency since the summer. First time at Vincennes but one to note all the same

13. DESTIN D'ECHAL - Has begun to show more when barefoot and recent Marseille performance bodes well for his chances

14. DOLLAR GEDE - Frequently in the thick of things when applied. No penalty this time and could get a look in

15. DANDY CHERI - Moderate type that returned to winning ways at Meslay last weekend and although in better company here should not be too far off the mark

16. DROP THOURJAN - Gives a good account for the most part but sanctioned in last two and not easy to trust

17. DRAKKAR BUROIS - Moderate sort and not the most reliable. Failed to fire at Bordeaux last time and will need to raise his game

18. DIAMANT NONANTAIS - Will be fully fit following the break. Is unshod all four for the first time and in spite of the draw can still get back down to business

Summary (4) DISCO D'OCCAGNES put on quite the show to impose at Amiens last month and considering his spot on the front line could yet double his money. (11) DRAGON DU KAHEL is well-known to the stewards but should be able to apply the pressure if he can keep his action together. The Swedish (6) DAN JOSSELYN proved himself here earlier in the month and with shoes off again can make the frame once more. (1) DEFI may have the inside line here but should nonetheless make amends for his recent Lyon blip. (18) DIAMANT NONANTAIS has been handed a dreadful draw but is barefoot for the first time and may well end up in the first five.

3. DOUZE MAGIC - Delicate but has won every race he has finished. Stays shod this time and should not be overlooked

4. DIEGO FORTUNA - Considerably better sort in this branch of the game. Comes here fresh and barefoot and looks a player

5. DAIMIO DE MAI - Erratic but has ability. Made good progress at Cabourg when setting his personal best and expected to figure prominently

6. DOMINO DODVILLE - Capable type in harness racing but has since lost his way. If ability transitions however his place is in the money

7. DAMIANO BELLO - Showed ability last winter but form tailed off. Sanctioned on return and looks to need another outing

8. DECI DELA - Useful but dependability not his thing. Thrashed in last two and must reaffirm

9. DYNAMIC JIMMY - Acquits himself respectably when he can keep his action together. Encouraged at Reims three weeks ago but a minor place chance at best

10. DON FRANCOIS - Respectable sort in the provinces but has no great love of Vincennes and will have nothing to offer

11. DARCY DE TOUCHYVON - Has demonstrated very good aptitude for the ridden code. Made an encouraging return under harness earlier in the month and can well lose his maiden status

Summary The talented (11) DARCY DE TOUCHYVON made a particularly encouraging comeback under harness earlier this month and with four shoes off this time has an ideal opportunity to open his account. There will be opposition though from (4) DIEGO FORTUNA comes to Vincennes refreshed and barefoot for a return to his code of preference. (5) DAIMIO DE MAI gave a fine account at Cabourg on just his second start back and looks a solid place chance this time. (6) DOMINO DODVILLE has been struggling under harness lately but switches disciplines for the first time with David Thomain on his back and must be afforded respect.

Race 6 1. ELIZIR DU HOME - Exceptional to date. Missed out by little here last time and after a short break will be fresh and ready to get back down to business

3. ETAILO D'EAM - Productive colt with some good performances to his name. Did not enjoy the best of luck at Lyon recently but from the three-spot should make amends

4. ESPOIR DE MADKER - Pleased here late October but failed to fire next time on the outer track. Has a good spot in front though and should not be entirely overlooked

5. ESPOIR FOU - Regular for the most part. Placed twice from three at Vincennes and recent effort augurs well for his chances

6. ELVIS D'EVRON - Capable on a good day but has shown little liking for Vincennes and others preferred

7. EXIT MONEY - Serious colt that seldom disappoints. Pleased on his only start at the venue and despite the wide draw can still have his way

8. ESPOIR DE TOUES - Well-regarded colt that showed considerable class earlier in the year. Has two races under his belt and expected to put on a good show

9. EROS VICTORY - Has looked a better sort in the claiming division and poses no threat

10. ESPRIT OCCAGNES - Rarely lets the side down when he can stay in stride but after a three-months' break will need the run

11. EL GUSTO - Just once out of the first four to date. Won over longer here three weeks ago and deserves her place in the line-up but the second-line draw does him no favours

12. ETURN MONEY - Decent but delicate colt making his first start for almost a year and will need the race

13. ELDORADO DU CHENE - Moderate type that has looked rather ordinary lately and will have his work cut out

Summary (7) EXIT MONEY has had two return starts since the break and latterly went close at Laval - he is well-regarded by his handler and looks a live chance. The classy (1) ELIZIR DU HOME has a better draw on the inside though and after a well-earned rest can get straight back into the game. (8) ESPOIR DE TOUES

should be at peak fitness by now and despite the draw can still make the first three. The improving (2) EL POPOF is better positioned behind the car and also looks in with a respectable place chance.

6. ELEGANTE EMERAUDE - Has finished no closer than fifth in nine racecourse appearances and even with Barrier on board is unlikely to make any impact

7. ECIJA DE JUPILLES - Produced her best ridden result at Cherbourg earlier this month but in better company and faces a stiff test

8. EBONITA DAIRPET - Third over course and distance on ridden debut but unthreatening in both since and others preferred

9. EXCEPTIONAL GIRL - Useful sort that was sanctioned on ridden debut two weeks ago but if applied should figure prominently

Summary Following her good second at Caen (10) EMERAUDE DEL PHEDO missed out by little at Graignes two weeks ago and looks capable of opening her account. The delicate (9) EXCEPTIONAL GIRL broke stride that day but should put up resistance if she can keep her action together. (5) EXCELLENCE CITRUS made good improvement at Amiens last weekend and on a similar trajectory may just trot into the frame. After four straight sanctions (2) ESCAPE DE HOUELLE may not be an obvious choice but it is only a matter of time before she shows her true colours.

10. ECLIPSE LOCO - Progressing all the while. Made a solid ridden debut at Amiens last weekend and can expect some support

11. ELECTRA - Only once out of the frame from five under the saddle and does not make the long trip for nothing

12. ERIA FORLIFE - Modest individual that has finished no closer than fourth in 13 outings and in current shape appears to have nothing to give

13. EGERIE RAPID - Delicate but has demonstrated good aptitude for the game. Third over track and trip three weeks ago and again looks competitively well in

Summary The Bigeon-trained (7) ELSA BARBES has shown sufficient aptitude under harness to be considered good enough to get straight off the mark on ridden debut. She will however be up against the capable (13) EGERIE RAPID who has yet to finish out of the frame when applied. (8) EVA D'ARCY has more than once looked a useful type and appears capable of making a big impact on her first start in the ridden code. (11) ELECTRA has hardly set a foot wrong of late and is not racing here just to please her connections.

Summary This opener can go the way of (1) AMAFACON who won impressively enough at this venue in a claiming chase over this trip and can confirm the form with some of those behind. The price should be workable. (2) A MAGIC MAN will take the beating. (4) TRIBALION and (5) BALLICOD look well ahead of the others for the remaining frame places.

(5) DANSE AVEC JERSEY looks equally good for the runner up spot and should make it a nice forecast. (1) LUCKY NET LOVE and (6) LA CHAVANNE can fill the frame.

Summary (1) CARINA TU SEI is a more than hopeful selection despite having a rather light campaign this season. She had a late reappearance before scoring at Lyon-Parilly and then showed up very well at Auteuil in a Listed event. She can do better again. (5) STORMINATOR is solid enough. (2) CLOS DU CHENET could go close if producing best. (6) CAYO DE PAIL for fourth.

7. PEACE MAKER - Won flat maiden at Cork before a good first effort over hurdles here

Summary This looks booked for the Guillaume Macaire trained (1) CANDALEX who hit into a very smart sort last time at this venue when fourth but does not meet anything of that calibre this time round and should be well worth following. (6) EL'BAN and (2) CESARE DI ROMA look good for places ahead of (4) MR MAXIMUM.

3. MOZO GUAPO - Won on hurdles debut before finishing a creditable few places behind Tunis and Pesk Ebrel last time

4. SPINOZZAR - All three hurdles and career runs at this venue and is now on a hat trick with every chance

5. EQUEMAUVILLE - Placed in three of four runs but easily outpointed by Spinozzar last time here

6. ERAGONE - Won on debut here in splendid style here earlier in month and plenty more to come

7. ROSEMARIE HAS - Unbeaten in both her runs both at Vichy and latterly here where she bolted in. Must be respected

Summary The market may not get this one correct where the warm favourite could be most vulnerable indeed to some very unexposed and improving sorts who have been successful at this venue. Best of those maybe (7) ROSEMARIE HAS who has looked a bit special in both her starts. (4) SPINOZZAR and (6) ERAGONE can run huge while (1) TUNIS might prove a bit weaker this time round.

Summary (4) CARPE VICTORIA ran a couple of decent races against stiffer opposition when trained by Pascal Bary. She will relish the extra distance today and will take some beating. (1) PRINCESSCHOPE is a likely improver and should not be underrated.

9. MORNING DREAM - Runner-up in a competitive maiden at Toulouse. Went well on fibresand at Deauville last August. Player

10. ULTRA PETITA - Newcomer by Aussie Rules. Best to watch unless betting shows otherwise

Summary (2) GIGI TRIO did catch the eye in her last two starts at this course and the extra-distance could make all the difference here. She will be retained ahead of (1) BERJOU who simply does not know how to run a bad race. Both (6) ROYAL CALAS and (5) LITHESOME will have to raise their game significantly to challenge the selection.

Summary Judged on her first run on french soil (4) OCEAN DRIVE will take a power of beating in this modest contest. She had displayed a couple of promising efforts before that in UK including one on fibresand and can be preferred to (5) GOLDEN RASH whose best races have been registered at this course. (7) RHODALIA and (1) EGESTA are two more for the shortlist.
