have participated at the Annual Sports and shown their talent in various co-curricularactivities. Every student is an achiever in their respective fields. Participation indifferent activities instills in them confidence in their inherent abilities and hence theseare an essential part of education. Now its time for the students to get back to theirstudy. The first year course is almost over and the second year students are gearing upfor their VST exam. The form fill–up for the second year is over and they shall appear atthe Practical exam in the month of January. It is hoped that the New Year will be agreat moment for all in the form of better performance of the students in their +2exam. As we have come to the last month of the year, let us analyse our work and findout the lacunas so that the New Year is promising for each one of us. A Debate competition “Eradication on Corruption”was organized by SBI, Sambalpur branch on the eve ofVigilance Awareness Week. Miss Greeshma Mishra, +21st yr. Sc, Miss Sahin Aktar Kaderi, +2 2nd yr. Sc., &Master Anish Padhan, +2 1st Yr. Com were got 1st, 2nd

and 3rd prize respectively. Sj Satyanarayan Chand, DPC,SBI, and Sj Pradip Kumar Sahu, Deputy ManagerAdministrative Office, SBI Sambalpur Branch weregrace the occasion.

In the District level YRC camp held at Laida collegefrom 08.11.2018 to 10.11.2018 our participants cameout with the following result Greesma Misha of +2 1st

It is a continuous platform where parent can interact with concern subject teacher to ask the improvement about their ward.

As per mythology is concerned, significance of Diwali transform Darkness to Light hence we pray to Goddess Maha Kali, Maha Laxmi and Maha Saraswati to get joy as light,

prosperity & wealth. In this auspicious occasion Sj. G. Bhaskar Rao, MD VGI worshiped the goddess and lighting the lamp.

BASIC COUNSELLING SKILLS FOR EDUCATORS

Under the enlightenment of Trainer Dr. SolonyPriya, a basic skills for educators was conductedto enhance the skills and will power of teachersand learners. This program was successfullyorganized with the huge gathering of teachingand non-teaching staffs from Sambalpur,Bhubaneswar and Bargarh campuses.

CHSE INTER COLLEGE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

VHSS football team were runners up in CHSE inter College football(Boys) tournament 2018 held at H.K.Ray Junior College, Rourkela from 02.11.2018 to 05.11.2018. Bikash Lakra & Christ Taurin Aind selectedfrom Zone-C for final selection trial which was held at Begunia College Begunia. Esteemed MD VGI Sj. G.

Bhaskar Rao and Principals VHSS & VCS greeted the runners up team. The team were guided byfootball Coach Bhim Sir.

Snigdha Rani Bhaji of CHSE 2nd Year science won Gold in Inter College Wrestling ( Girls)

Puri on 16.11.2018. Many manycongratulations to Snigdha and wishing you

all the best for State Level Competition.

Students of our institutions tookpart at the District Level YouthFestival, Sambalpur got 3rd positions.It was guided by Laba Sir, Naba Sirand Tiki Mam. This programencouraged a lot to participate in thecultural activities and it brings theglory of our institutions all over thedistrict.

As every year our institute celebrate Annual Sports Day, this year also with full energy anddetermination the students of CHSE have participated in various events under the ableleadership of HOD PE dept.Sj.Amod Anand. To motivate the skill of the students andencourage inherent talents in sports, 9th Annual Sports day was celebrated in our campus.Esteemed MD, VGI Sj. G. Bhaskar along with principals of VHSS & VCS Sj. S.K. Baboo and Dr.B. Padhy paid their encouragement towards the confidence of the students.

Amul Celebrations National Milk Day was celebrated on 26th November in our campus. A debate competition was organized where many students took participation and the winners are Greeshma Mishra, +2 1st Yr. Sc., Sahin Aktar Kaderi, +2 2nd Yr. Sc., DibyanshiSahoo, +2 1st Yr. Sc. And Anish Pradhan, +2 1st Yr. Com. This program was conducted by Amul Parivar to highlight the significance of all milk.

VHSS Sason Sambalpur Teambecame Champion in CHSE InterCollege Kho-Kho Tournament-2018at Anchalik MahavidyalayaSindhol. Many manycongratulations to the teammembers and our Kho-Kho CoachSri B.N Purohit sir.
