ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

The Department of Civil Engineering at Vignan was established in2008 and it is committed to research and development in CivilEngineering. The vision of the department is to give an exposureto the budding Civil technocrats to various challenges in theprofession. The principal educational objective of our departmentis to provide the students, fundamental knowledge and the skillsneeded to resolve the problems related to the construction andmaintenance of infrastructure in harmony with the society andthe environment.

The Department also offers an M.Tech Degree Program inStructural Engineering. Research Scholars are also pursuing theirPh.D research, in many relevant and advanced areas of CivilEngineering.

Successful Civil Engineering graduates are creative, analytical,and communicative and possess problem solving skills. Withthese qualities, our graduates not only develop careers as highquality practicing engineers, but are also sought after by topcompanies for their potential in management, finance, consultingand other key positions.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Conference aims to provide an oppor tunity for faculty,research scholars, students and field engineers to meet together,present and exchange their knowledge on their current topics ofresearch in Civil Engineering. Analytical, experimental and fieldproblems of research will be discussed.
