METHODIST YOUTH FELLOWSHIP (MYF) - Foster Senn, Leader
The MYF collected donations for the Bethel Church Food Bank and on Saturday, Sept. 23, they helped distribute the food at the food bank. This was a great hands on experience for Taylor Bouknight and Shelby Johnson, along with Erin Connor and Josh Pitts. Thanks to everyone for their donations and to Erin for organizing this effort.
The MYF had a great turnout on Sept. 24 (15 youth and 8 adults) at their regular meeting. Michael and Bridget Bouknight and William Johnson prepared delicious chicken tacos for the group. A local youth comedian, Landon Gruber, performed a stand-up comedy routine. Landon is an 11th grader and attends First Baptist Church.

The UMW met on Sept. 4 in the Fellowship Hall. Frieda Kesler served delicious refreshments and also presented the program. All members are asked to collect the tabs on soda cans as well as cancelled stamps on envelopes. They will be donated toward a mission project. All ladies are also asked to bring two canned goods or paper products for the Manna House. The mission project for OCTOBER is the Back Pack Program.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
