INFORMATION SHEET FOR GLOBAL SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP STEERING COMMITTEE APPLICANTS

STEP’s Global Special Interest Groups (SIGs) exist to support professional development and deepening of networks in focussed areas of STEP practice on an international basis. SIGs offer their members the chance to network with other members with whom they have a shared specialism, to discuss the subject and advance their knowledge in the area.

Before applying for Global SIG Steering Committee membership, please familiarise yourself with the Global SIG Terms of Reference, as well as the responsibilities and obligations you would undertake as a Global SIG Steering Committee member. The Global SIG Terms of Reference are of particular importance for this purpose as they set forth the rules and guidance on all matters relating to the running, governance and operation of special interest groups, to include detail on committee membership and the election process.
