DCO told that Rs. 22 million have been given to ISLAH School whose building has been termed dangerous and he will try his level best to solve the tabled issues on priority and will sanction grants in next budget.

Mr. Ashraf Ali Haral updated that due to up gradation of school 100 more seats of primary teachers are vacant so new figure for vacant posts is 905.

Government Girls Primary School in Peepal Bhutta village of Lalyan Tehsil will be monitored by ITA for its construction as DCO has already taken ITA on board and has directed AC Lalyan tehsil to coordinate with ITA staff.

Two letters to DCO and EDO (Education) have already been written and DCO has responded positively on the matters identified. It was decided that two more letters on matters further identified in BAITHAKS and by other coalition members.

ASER seems to be a useful project as it deals with imparting awareness to community to educate their 5-16 Years Children which has now become compulsory according to law.

ASER Survey is acceptable as the discussed report is on actual basis.

Government should also provide basic facilities to the children in order to attract them towards schools like exemption of school fees (as in schools which have attained and free uniforms.

It is the need of hour that a joint effort must be put by the Education Department and the Community in order to increase enrollment of Out of School Children in District Lodhran.

Dire need of active community participation.

Influential should take responsibility to adopt at least one child’s education, in future if this practice will gradually sensitize the whole community in the long run and the time is no far behind when no child will be
