Plagued tormented, troubled, harrassed

Spinning The process of making fibrous material into yarn or thread.

Tangled All knotted and twisted together.

Ale head Hangover/headache

Embroidery Decorate (cloth) by sewing patterns on it with thread

Privy Toilet/outhouse

Scold To rebuke in an angry, irritated, and often nagging way A mother might scold a child who misbehaves.

Solar An upper chamber in a medieval house.

Minstrel A medieval singer or musician, esp. one who sang or recited lyric or heroic poetry to a musical accompaniment for the nobility.

Impudence Not showing due respect for another person

Docile Ready to accept control or instruction; submissive.

Conspire Make secret plans jointly to commit an unlawful or harmful act.

Suitor A man who pursues a relationship with a particular woman, with a view to marriage.

Betrothal Enter into a formal agreement to marry.

Vellum Skin Parchment: The untanned hides of sheep, goats and calves were

prepared for dual sided writing by removing hair and applying lime

and gradually came to replace papyrus. First used around the 5th to the 2nd century B.C. its heyday

was during the middle ages. Vellum is a finer type of parchment.
