Transcript of Vidya Pratishthan’s College of Engineering, Baramati-413...
We are pleased to publish our quarterly activities up to 31 December 2015 before you.
Our e-Newsletter mostly focuses on the events in which our faculty and students have
shown their interest in the higher learning as well as research field.
Our College organized a National Level Conference on Mathematics Technology and Inno-
vations in Maths Education during 4 to 7 December 2015. This was really a notable event
as the Conference really proved a great success. Teachers and scholars in Mathematics
from all the states in Maharashtra participated in this Conference. Most of our faculty
members visited different IIT campuses for Summer Research Fellowships and Faculty
Development Programmes. Some of our faculty also underwent an Industrial Training
during vacation period. Therefore, these kinds of events and active involvement in such
programmes helps the faculty members to develop a value-added confidence and also mo-
tivates others to be part of such programmes. Providing exposure to the faculty and stu-
dents is the key of quality development and progress and our College motivates the facul-
ty for the same.
Our faculty keeps the students updated with new technology by organizing various work-
shops to be in pace with syllabus of the University. During this period most of our Engi-
neering and Architecture faculty members organized Internship Preparation Visits and
Study Tours for the students to develop professional insights among themselves . Some of
our faculty members arranged Workshops on Android which proved useful to show stu-
dents the experiments which help them to face the challenges in the outside world.
