Main Aim: At the end of the lesson students will be able to describe famous people physically and emotionally. Written and orally References to Planes y Programas (OF, CMO, AE)
Exponent(s): Descriptive Adjectives.
Physical description. He / She is tall/short, He / She is fat/slim, He / She is brunette
He / She has long/short hair, He / She has Curly/wavy/straight hair, He / She has white skin.
Emotional description.
He / She is interesting, He / She is amazing, He / She is beautiful or handsome.
Assumed Knowledge:
Verb to be
Verb have
Personal pronouns
Target Language:
Personal pronoun + verb to be/have (third person singular, simple present tense) + descriptive adjective.
Anticipated Problems:…..and Solutions:
Ss might not remember the structure of simple sentences.
Before the presentation T explains structures and T clarifies any possible Ss doubt.

-T writes the objective of the class and asks students if they understand the meaning of the following words: famous people, physically and emotionally
-T shows three pictures to the students of three famous people and asks Ss if they can see any difference between them. T encourages students to give their answer even in Spanish
-T start giving some examples trough mimic to describe the famous people on the pictures, also T asks his students to give their answer according to what they know about those famous people to describe them.
-T writes students’ answers on the whiteboard
-T asks the students what is the grammatical classification of the words to describe people.
-T explains when students have to use the sentences with verb “to be” and verb “have”
Do you have any idea about the meaning of famous people? The words emotionally and physically
There are some pictures .Do you know the name of these famous people? Can you see any difference between them? What about their hair? Can you see any difference?
Ok, what do you think? Kel Calderon is tall or short?. Alexis Sanchez is fat or slim?
So, How we can name all these words to describe people?
So, we are going to use she or he has, just to describe hair and white skin for the other adjectives we are

-T delivers some worksheets. Where students have to circle the adjective they think fit the best to each famous person.
Students have to choose the adjective from a chart and them write the sentences using the following structures:
She / He is tall, amazing, interesting etc.
She / He has long hair, white skin etc.
-T checks the students’ answers
-T asks students to bring a picture of a famous person next class to describe he or she using the structures and descriptive adjectives they learnt in the class.

Ok, so now you have to circle the adjective you think fits the best to each famous person, then you have to write the full sentence as we did before.
Ok let see, who wants to write the first answer.
