About Taman Jurong Recycling Project…
Initiated by Taman Jurong Community Club- Youth Executive Committee(YEC)
First started in 2011
Reduce wastage in households, give waste a new life, raise funds to help needy families in Taman Jurong

Encourage greater environmental sustainability among students
TJYEC requested for support from JJC to provide manpower for the collection drive on the actual day
JJC agreed, but decided to do more:
inject an element education of sustainability in waste minimisation efforts through educational pamphlets.
To encourage shared environmental ownership amongst students and the community.
