LETTER FROM OUR PASTOR/CARTA DE NUESTRO PARROCO
4 3
Queridos Feligreses,
Oh Cristo Jesús, yo te reconozco como Rey del universo;
derechos soberanos.
Padre David.
Dear Parishioners,
Jesus, King and center of all hearts, by the coming of
Thy kingdom, grant us peace.
Today, we honor Christ under the title of Christ the
King. We are invited by the Church to renew our com-
mitment to bringing Christ more effectively into the
world. This day of Christ the King is a reminder that our
Catholic Faith is an impulse and an effort of translating
our personal faith into the language of the world so that
more people may desire to practice our common voca-
tion to holiness.
O Christ Jesus, I acknowledge you to be the King of the
universe; all that has been made is created by you.
Exercise over me your sovereign rights. I renew the
promises of my Baptism, renouncing Satan and all of his
false promises and I pledge myself to lead a truly Chris-
tian life. In a special manner do I undertake to bring
about the triumph of the rights of God in the Church.
Divine Heart of Jesus I offer my actions to obtain the
acknowledgement by every heart of your sacred kingship. May the
kingdom of your peace be firmly established throughout all the
earth! Amen.
Your Pastor,
Father David.
November 24 & 25, 2018/24 y 25 de noviembre, 2018

7 Our Lord Jesus Christ the King of the Universe
YEAR OF REPARATION/AÑO DE REPARACIÓN Our Lady of Reparation
Immaculate Virgin, refuge of sinners, in order to atone for the
injuries done to Almighty God and the evil inflicted on humanity by
sin, you accepted with resignation the death of your divine Son on
the Cross, be ever favorable toward us, and in heaven, where you
reign gloriously, continue in our behalf your work of fervor and love.
We would be your children: show yourself to be our Mother.
Obtain from Jesus, our divine Redeemer that he may be pleased
to apply to our souls the fruits of his passion and death, and deliver
us from the bonds of our iniquities.
May he be our light in the midst of darkness, our strength in weak-
ness, our refuge in the midst of danger, may he strengthen us by his
grace and love in this world, and grant us to love him, see him and
possess him in the world to come.
Amen.
(THIS PRAYER WAS COMPOSED AND APPROVED IN 1904 DURING THE PONTIFI-
CATE OF POPE SAINT PIUS X AND CARRIES A PARTIAL INDULGENCE OF 500
DAYS.)
do por venir.
Amen.
