one-page presentation for a specified time interval. What-If reports allow you to perform capacity planning and situational trend analysis.

The Automated reporting option allows a customer to receive near real-time automated capacity reports. These reports are driven by the customer needs and customizable by the customer and the account team via an easy-to-use web portal. At the port level, a customer can be notified by e-mail reporting on utilization, over or under, on a weekly or monthly basis. Reports are in PDF format, and are delivered via e-mail to the customer based on their preset deliverable timetable.

WAN Analysis Enhanced Traffic Management (ETM) provides all the reports available in the Standard and Standard Select packages plus additional reports including Class of Service, Network-Based Application Recognition (NBAR), and Response reports. This package allows you to retrieve granular data all the way down to the hour-of-day level. Response reports provide response comparisons against an historical baseline, Average Response Distribution, Response/Limit Distribution, Failed Attempts, Service Availability, and Element Health Index.

The Fault Management Solution, eHealth Live Health, provides access to near real-time performance data through Live Status, Live Exceptions, and Live Trend, which provide high-level diagram of critical IT resources status, a detailed list of alarms, and view of key statistics.

WAN Analysis ETM Select Reporting includes all features of the previous levels of service, plus near-real-time performance exceptions and trending capabilities, network status maps and exceptions browser, and VPN Grouping and Customized Network Status Map Views.

Manage Traffic and Capacity Before Issues Occur

Today’s business services directly affect customers, and problems can quickly be reflected in a company’s bottom line. CA’s eHealth Suite provides a snapshot of your current network capacity and utilization patterns. The historical and real-time reporting enables IT professionals to identify and address potential issues before they affect end-users.

The Total Network Volume Chart reveals whether network traffic is increasing, decreasing, or remaining constant. By monitoring traffic volume and trend indicators, IT managers can baseline current activity and project capacity requirements.

Proactively Manage Network Resources with Live Status Live Status provides IT managers with an integrated view of fault and performance information for network resources. With this powerful tool, IT managers can see when problems occur and, where they are located, measure the severity of the problem, prioritize troubleshooting, and assess the impact to business services. As network performance problems are resolved—perhaps a sluggish router needs an upgrade—IT managers can see network resources returning to normal.

WAN Analysis Provider Edge Reporting allows the customer to view statistics on the performance of the Verizon Private IP core network (our Layer 3 MPLS VPN). This service shows data related to the customer’s bandwidth utilization as well as Packet Drop statistics. WAN Analysis Provider Edge Reporting allows customers to validate the effectiveness of their QoS settings by showing utilization and discards by Class of Service (CoS) as polled from the Verizon Provider Edge Router. Verizon’s WAN Analysis Provider Edge Reporting provides an overall health check of the network for Packet Delivery Ratio, Packet Loss, Latency, and Jitter, on routes between Provider Edge City Pairs over Verizon’s Private IP core network.
