Past-Tense verbs express action that was done anytime in the past and is completely finished now.

Regular Past-Tense Verbs

• To show past tense most verbs add –ed

Irregular Past-Tense Verbs

• Some verbs are and don’t like following the – ed rule.

• Here are examples of some of these crazy verbs that change their

spelling when they are in the past tense.
