characteristics of a person/object, noun phrases and time.
• Soy =I am• Eres = you are• Es = He /she/you (formal)• Somos= we• Sois= you(plural)• Son=they

In Spanish, ESTAR is used to address a condition and SER is used to describe an essential quality.
The adjective actually changes meaning, depending upon whether
it is used with ser or estar.
