Gerund Phrase starts with the Gerund and goes until a verb or punctuation

Gerund Phrases always function as nouns

Shauna won by making a twenty foot putt.

Winning the tournament was a life long dream of mine.

In a moment Lennie came crashing through the brush.

Always modifies the noun
