Venture Mines: Description This new strategy sport is like

Battleship meets hopscotch Two players take turns venturing across

the “Mine field” until one of the players step on a mine or makes it to safety

Required Supplies

Bed sheet

Eggs

1 2

Game Prep

Draw on sheet: 3 vertical lines 5 horizontal lines(Creating a 6x4 grid or 32 cells)

Cut a vertical slit in each of the cells

Game Setup

Steak the sheet to the ground where there is ~ 4” clearance between the sheet and the ground

Player 1 Lane

Player 1 has 4 eggs While Player 2 is

away, Player 1 hides the eggs in the holes of the sheet (dropping the egg in the slits)

The egg will rest on the ground out of site

Players can NOT place two eggs in the same row

While Player 1 is away, Player 2 returns the favor!

Game Play

Player 1 and Player 2 take turns taking steps through the mine field until either reaching the other side or stepping on a “mine” (egg)

Venture Mines for the Adventurous

If you are the more adventurous and want to take Venture Mines to the next level, replace out the eggs with a mouse trap OR invent your own “mine”
