The Veloster N was built to make your heart race — and for 2021, it offers a new list of impressive features that will have you looking forward to every moment you can spend behind the wheel. For the first time ever, the Veloster N now offers an available automatic N 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission with paddle shifters, so you can discover another side of this high-performance vehicle.

Developed based on experience and technology gained from motorsports, this is high-performance driving in its most exhilarating form as you feel equally at home on the track as you do on your daily commute.

Performance driven by passion.

Serious power.The 275 hp 2.0L Turbocharged engine with 260 lb-ft of torque places heart-pounding power at your right foot. Equipped with launch control, the Veloster N delivers an energizing snap that will keep you firmly planted at the back of your seat. Further enhancing the experience, a shift timing indicator alerts you to an approaching redline for peak acceleration.

Choose between six-speed manual transmission with auto rev-matching for quicker and sportier downshifts, or the new N DCT with two separate clutches for increased efficiency, faster shifting and driving convenience.

Electronically controlled mechanical limited-slip differential

The Veloster N provides world-class cornering ability with an electronically controlled mechanical limited-slip differential. This system uses true torque vectoring to intelligently and precisely distribute torque where it’s needed most. This increases cornering speed and reduces understeer for enhanced handling agility.

Electronically controlled suspension

Allows optimal control of damping force of suspension to suit the driving situation and offers a clearly differentiated ride feel according to drive mode.

N 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission.

The new N 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission (N DCT) is an automated manual transmission with two separate clutches for increased efficiency, faster shifting and driving convenience. The wet clutch system offers better cooling and copes with high torque; and comes with a simple gear lever arrangement, so you can push forward to downshift and pull back to upshift. With three high-performance functions enhancing the fun, you get full control over your drive.

• “N Power Shift” provides a dynamic shifting style, giving you a push-feel after shifting, designed to mimic the sensation of manual transmission.

• “N Grin Shift” will put a grin on your face with the push of a button, giving you a max-power turbo boost for 20 seconds.

• “N Track Sense Shift” senses when road conditions are optimal for dynamic driving and automatically activates, selecting the right gear and shift timing for optimal performance, allowing you to focus on steering.

The Veloster N features a high-flow active sport exhaust with a variable actuator to deliver an incredible soundtrack of crackles and pops. Enjoy three levels of sound that can be switched on demand to suit your preference.

19" alloy wheels with Pirelli high-performance tires

The high-performance 235/35R19 Pirelli P-Zero summer tires were engineered exclusively for the Veloster N. Wrapped around machined finish, lightweight 19" alloy wheels, their tread pattern and nano-composite compound are specifically tailored for optimal grip, lateral stability and stopping power.

N-exclusive design.The design of the Veloster N conveys the brand’s high-performance identity with its enhanced aerodynamic design, as well as its aggressive and bold image. Sporty red trim accents placed around the front and rear bumper reflect its performance credentials. Already have your eyes on the powerful Ignite Flame red? Then those accents are switched to a sporty dark grey trim.

The Veloster N gauge cluster features sequential shift lights to let you know when you approach the redline, so you can shift gears at the precise moment to maximize performance.

N Light sports bucket seats

With an integrated headrest and slim, race-inspired profile — the new N sport bucket seats provide enhanced support and hug during spirited driving. An illuminated N logo on the upper side of the backrest adds to the interior aesthetic.

N drive mode

The N-exclusive steering wheel puts driving performance features right at your fingertips with the dedicated N button. Choose N mode for optimal performance settings, or tailor the driving dynamics exactly to your preferences with the Custom mode. It allows you to individually select your preferred level of steering weight, engine mapping, damper firmness, exhaust sound, electronic limited-slip differential, rev-matching and stability control to customize your own drive profile. The selected settings are then stored to be recalled later at the press of a button.
