When the BHAVA in consideration is occupied by BHAVA Lords of DUSTHANAS (6H, 8H, 12H)reckoned from Ascendant, the benefic significations of the BHAVA in consideration shall notmanifest. However, there shall be a relief to the manifestation if the BHAVA in consideration isaspect by a benefic planet.4. The BHAVA in consideration suffers manifestation in benefic effects when two (or) all the followingconditions occur:a. The BHAVA in consideration, its Lord and the KARAKA are bereft of strength; orb. A malefic (both functional & natural) planet occupying:a. DUSTHANAS (6H, 8H, 12H) when reckoned from Ascendant; orb. DUSTHANAS (6H, 8H, 12H) when reckoned from the BHAVA in considerationThe significations of the BHAVA in consideration shall not manifest.5. When the Lord of a BHAVA in consideration is posited in DUSTHANAS (6H, 8H, 12H) reckonedfrom Ascendant, the significations of the BHAVA in consideration shall not manifest. However, thereshall be a relief to the manifestation if the BHAVA in consideration is aspect by a benefic planet.6. The BHAVA in consideration shall not manifest beneficial results if the Lord of that BHAVA isposited in DUSTHANAS (6H, 8H, 12H). If the BHAVA Lord in the DUSTHANA be weak, theeffects shall be immensely harmful; if he be strong, the damage shall be slight.7. Should a planet own 2(two) BHAVAS, the significations of the BHAVA which is hisMOOLATRIKONA will predominate while the significations of the other BHAVA shall be half.8. The planets occupying the exact degrees (BHAVA-MADHYA) signified by any particular BHAVAdenote beneficial effects of that house. The planets situated in BHAVA-SANDHI shall not manifestsignificant results; in case of planets occupying intermediate positions the significations shall beascertained by a method of three.9. To assess the effects of a planet position in Own sign, Exaltation sign, Friends sign, Inimical sign isto be ascertained. Benefic planets occupying a BHAVA shall promote its growth while Maleficplanets occupying a BHAVA shall cause a decay of the BHAVA. This shall be reversed in case of 6H,8H and 12H.10. If a planet owns 2(two) BHAVAS one of which falls in an auspicious position reckoned fromAscendant and the other in DUSTHANA, and if the planet occupies the auspicious BHAVA himself,the planet shall manifest beneficial results and not the adverse results of the BHAVA being aDUSTHANA.11. The following are the recognized connections or relations between 2(two) planets:a. When they occupy mutually each others signb. When they are conjoinedc. When there is mutual aspect between themd.
