Primary Duties: Policy advisor to Human Resource Directorate Admiral, Deputy Commandant for Mission Support Admiral and the Commandant and Vice Commandant of the Coast Guard for the entire Coast Guard workforce. Directs and drafts policy and guides senior leadership re: ethnic and workplace climate issues affecting more than 57,000 active duty, reserve, civilian and auxiliary personnel. Provides career guidance, counseling, coaching, and intercession as needed to a significant cadre of Junior Officers. Tracks and analyzes accession, retention, promotion, advancement data and assignments for race and ethnic minorities. Directly supervises staff of three (1 O-3, 1 CWO, 1 E-7).
