SonQuest Rainforest will take your kids beyond what they can explore with their senses to discover a living spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God. They will learn through Jesus’ parables: to live out God’s Word every day; to be a part of God’s family; to share God’s immeasurable love with others; to pray to Jesus anytime; and to love God by doing their best.

Rockin’ Rainforest Round up

Bring your families for an exciting evening filled with awesome activities, games, food and lots of FUN! Kids can make their way through a giant inflatable Rainforest Challenge (obstacle course), bounce in the inflatable ―Palm Tree,‖ slide down the inflatable SonQuest Super Slide and then attend the God’s Wild Creatures Show to see and learn about exotic Rainforest animals. There will be a short program so kids and parents can share their favorite songs and skits, as well as an opportunity to meet Vacation Bible School leaders and view classrooms. Tickets can be pre-purchased Tuesday–Thursday morning during registration for $3 per ticket with a $15 max per family, or get your tickets at the door.

Sonquest Expedition: Bring Your Nickels! Help Children in Haiti!

Our guest missionaries, Bud and Cindy Lenker, were in Haiti in January 2010 when a huge earthquake brought devastation and loss to a nation that was already the poorest country in the western hemisphere. The need for food, water and shelter is great, but many Haitians are also hungry to know God and to learn from His Word. Most Haitians live on less than $2 per day, so they are unable to afford a Bible of their own. Our VBS challenge is to bring in nickels to purchase Bibles in the Creole language so the children and families of Haiti can read God’s Word in their own language. Creole Bibles cost $9 each. Our goal is to purchase 135 Bibles!

SonQuest Rainforest

Characters ’ Challenge Start collecting nickels NOW!

Our SonQuest Rainforest characters — Antonio, Bobbi, Professor, Sean and Terri -- along with our pastors and VBS leaders, have issued a challenge! For each Nickel Expedition Jar we fill, a character will submit to a very wet Rain Shower supplied by our mystery mascot, Questor the Parrot, during our daily opening program. If our goals are met, we will reveal the identity of our mysterious rain-loving bird, and provide her (or him?) with an extra special (and extremely wet) Rain Shower (or should we say ―deluge‖?) on Friday. Let’s bring those nickels and watch our SonQuest Rainforest characters get soaked!
