The 2%

• Moral imperative to access the state funds – while important for our employees & needed to remain competitive, it is necessary for our taxpayers.

Over time VB schools will find it necessary to remain

competitive and, if the pay raise to match our neighbors is not done this year, it most assuredly will be done in the future but with 100% local funds, permanently foregoing the $3.8 million on the table in Richmond.
