NWWA - Chennai
It has been my fortune and privilege to be NWWA President for Chennai region. The Numerous
activities organized by NWWA during Milan, celebrating festivals, welcoming guests etc has
been exemplary. I would like to mention that dedication of ladies towards NWWA has been
enormous at all time, which has immensely delighted and motivated me for instituting
necessary changes for the betterment of Naval Community.
New NWWA logo, introduced by Mrs Reena Lanba, President NWWA epitomizes the
contribution of NWWA for numerous welfare activities with a motto of “Reaching Out”.
The logo exemplifies the Strength of Unity among the ladies which nurtures harmonious
co-existence of Naval ladies in all facets of Naval Community. Over the period, NWWA has
evolved its modus operandi to be in sync with the latest technology and keep pace with
the changing work culture. NWWA has introduced new vocational training with external
organizations to give opportunity for learning and carrying forward the legacy of NWWA in
contributing towards the betterment of women in the Naval Community.
Change is the only variable that brings us to our most effervescent state of beings. We try
to abide by the same.
I would like to thank the Naval Community here at Chennai for their contribution to NWWA
and welcome the new ladies.
