Northwood made me change from a boy to a man. Luckily for me I was surrounded by great people who wanted nothing but the best for me. On and off the ice, Northwood let me grow as a man and a player and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. – Jack Dugan ‘17

college commitments

Choosing to go to Northwood was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I wanted to go to prep school for one reason: to play the highest level of hockey I possibly could. I found that at Northwood, along with so many other benefits that came with it. I made friendships with kids from other countries that will last a lifetime, I learned how to be responsible and independent, I turned from a young adolescent into an adult, and I learned how to be a leader. The teachers worked closely with me to find the best way to make me successful in the classroom. My coaches at Northwood were second to none, no matter what sport it was. They pushed you in every way possible with one goal in mind which was to make you a better athlete, and more importantly, a better person. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be a Northwood student, and I am proud to call myself an alumni of Northwood school. – Kaden Pickering ’17
