ARTIST STATEMENT

I believe that art in essence should be free. The best representation of such freedom lies in what we like to call the sketch book. In a way I feel that everything or almost everything in the industry is polished and as much as that form of work is attractive, we as artist should never forgo our ideas, our ability to experiment to obtain that form of industrial perfection.

Our ability to experiment, to see what is not there, to create what cannot be there, sets us apart from the other man.


TREE CITY

This traditional illustration was influenced by environmental documentaries that I have been watching recently. Men will destroy nature, while pretending to co-exist with it. While we pretend we care, the tree in the park is dying.
