VALS And Maslow’s Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs 1. Physiological Needs: It is when an ad speaks to the basic necessity of the customer, like medicine, food and health product. 2. Safety Needs: It is when an ad is about safety need like stability and physical and emotional safety, like the insurance, retirement etc. 3. Belonging Needs: The need to belong in a group or being a part of something or getting accepted, it is the belonging needs that an ad is speaking to, like clothing products etc. 4.
