Beach Villas face the pristine

lagoon with direct access to the

beach, individually offset to

provide privacy amidst lush

greenery. All rooms feature a

private verandah with day bed &

chairs, wooden floors, air- conditioning, ceiling fan, sitting

area, 42” plasma TV, Digital safe

box, stocked Mini Bar, tea/coffee

making facility, espresso machine,

DIVING & WATER SPORTS Vakarufalhi has a state-of-the-art

PADI certified 5 Star dive center

with professional European dive

masters. The SCUBA Centre

features Guided Diving Boat Trips

and Night Snorkeling Trips on the

House Reef, Equipment and

Accessory Sales, Rental and

Repair and a complete PADI

Instructional Program.

The center is conveniently located

at the building behind the

reception.

Diving Off Vakaru

Vakarufalhi is home to a gorgeous

house reef that is located only 15

meters from the beach. The

house reef is known to be

populated with a plethora of

stunning sea life including

schools of snappers, soldier fish

and batfish. The house reef is also

home to mystical caves and

overhangs. To explore the beauty

of this house reef, Vakarufalhi

provides daily diving and night

diving excursions.

From January till the end of

March, visits to Manta points are

made several times a week. In the

months of September until

December, there is a good

chance of seeing whale sharks in

the area.

Boat trips are available every day

of the week. Full day, early

morning and night dive

excursions are organized

regularly. All the dive sites are

within 15 to 60 minutes by boat

from the Vakarufalhi Island. Single

dives to dive packages are

available for certified divers.

Diving Courses

All diving education is conducted

within the PADI standards and

instructions are available in

English, German, Italian and

French. Open Water, Advanced

Open Water, Rescue, Emergency

First Response and specialties

such Nitrox, Photography,

Underwater Naturalist etc are

some of the courses conducted

by the dive school. The course

theory is taught in fully equipped

air-conditioned classroom.

Dive Sites

There are about 35 dive sites

accessible through the dive

centre at Vakarufalhi. These sites

include 15 thilas that are famous

for their superb soft corals and

the large array of fish. Most of the

dive sites are located about 25

minutes from Vakarufalhi.

Water Sport Center

Our water sport center offers non-

motorized water sports for new or

experienced windsurfers and

catamaran sailors. Instructors are

available to give lessons on water

sports equipment. Kayaks are

available to row along the lagoon.
