This is the new development project which helps the dealer to get the order status and order detail with the Expected time ofArrival(ETA) .Currently the applications in ford are calculating ETA in a standard manner where they are using the user enteredstandard data.Vehicle visibility plans to predict ETAs for new vehicle orders based on historical analysis of similar orders i.e. orderwith similar attributes (such as plant code, vehicle line etc) and transportation parameters (such as Final Destination Location,Route Code etc).

SAMS-SOE(Single Order Edit) - Ford Feb-2009 to June 2011

This is an Enhancement project where the Last version is R3 and I am working for the release R4 which has some of the modulesintegrated in the SOE.This Project is used to search for all the order from the single order bank with the search criteria and donewith the reports and The users can also change the production chat accordingly with the new request/amendments. I am workingon the SOE where the search Criteria will be building using the GUI and getting the result set for the further processing foramendments, Cancel Orders, Build Instruction VBOM (Vehicle Bill Of Material) .The Search service is made as the web service(JAX-WS) also if the same can be accessed by different applications. This module is designed and coded in India. This is the development project done for Jaguar and Land rover cars that has been with ford.The Cars are done in UK and marketed in US and other countries. The supply chain of the car from the manufacturing unit to thedealer has been maintained.There are different stages for the cars which has been shipped through Cargo ships and some time through air any way there willsome tests done on the car named as FIP(First inspection program) to find out if there is any damage had been occurred or not.Like the above automatically the Vin (Vehicle identification number) are mapped to the activities. And once all the port activitiesare done the vehicle can be shipped to the dealer through different type of transport like road and rails some time it can be donethrough two legs.All transport events has been handled. The request and response are send and received as XML.
