Vacation Bible School Grades: 3 yr. olds - 4th Date: June 10 - 14 Cost: $25 VBS is a day program for children! Come learn some stories of the Bible, sing songs, be silly, and have a blast! We plan to bring the joy of God’s love and the fun of friends together in a week filled with excitement! Contact: Julie Hanson Camp Salie Grades: 2nd - 4th Date: July 9 - July 11 Cost: $100 Camp Salie is an overnight first camping experience that is led by adults and youth camp counselors. Camp Salie is located just north of the Twin Cities in the Rice Creek chain of lakes, near Wyoming, MN. It’s a short drive, yet “away from home” for the campers. Camp Salie offers acres of pine for- est, a creek, wetlands, hiking trails and a lake. This opportunity is great for first time overnight campers. Camp includes sleeping in a bunkhouse, campfires, hiking, swim- ming, crafts, games, exploring, and more all while learning about God’s amazing love. Contact: Julie Hanson Camp Hiawatha Grades: 4th - 9th Date: June 16 - 21 Cost: $440 This bible camp brings youth to “God’s Great Northwoods” through Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry. Nestled on the shores of Deer Lake, the summer programs of VLM have so much to offer! Campers have a renewing, Christ-centered experience while having fun swimming, worshipping, playing games, doing bible study, tie-dying, singing, eating great food, building friendships that last a life-time, and most importantly, experiencing the authentic love of Jesus. Contact: Abby Matter Summer of Service Grades: 5th - 8th Date: July 15 - 19 Cost: $200 Summer of Service is an opportunity to serve right here in the Twin Cities. This day- time service program will take youth to a service site each morning and then to a fun activity in the afternoon before heading back to church for a Bible study. Youth will get to see how big of an impact they can make right in their own backyard. Every day, speakers come to share inspiring and challenging sto- ries about real life, God, and where the two intertwine. The days are packed with fun surprises of all kinds. From the music, the movies, the games, the speakers, and club - all with laughter to tears - Summer Festival Camp really has something for everybody. Their staff are trained to lead groups into the wilderness to discover the beauty and wonder of creation and the beauty and wonder of faith. Slovakia Service Learning Trip
Grades: 9th - 12th Date: June 21 - July 3 Cost: $3200 High School youth will travel to Slovakia to experience a new culture. We will partner with the youth in Martin while we learn, worship, and serve alongside them. Youth will also tour Budapest to wrap-up our trip. Applications were due September 30. BWCA — Young Adults Ages: (One year post H.S. - 30) Date: July 18 - 22 Cost: $315 Young adults looking to reconnect with each other while spending time in creation can join us for a 5 day excursion into the Boundary Waters.
