Disclosed is a process of producing a spread from Jackfruit (artocarpus heterophyllus) seeds. Said method comprising the steps using manual and mechanical operations: washing the jackfruit seeds with tap water to remove the contaminants, boiling the jackfruit seeds using cooking pots, getting the boiled seeds from the cooking pots and put it in a drainer, cooling the boiled seeds, cutting cooled jackfruit seeds into halves, peeling-off the skin of the jackfruit seeds; toasti1ig the peeled seeds by constantly: stirring in frying pan, cooling it down, mixing all the ingredients that includes toasted jackfruit seeds, sugar, margarine, salt and Benzoic acid in a mixing container, grinding all the ingredients in a grinding machine to produce the spread, transferring the desired measurement of spread into the bottle, and lastly sealing the bottle with a cap using heat gun ready for packaging .
