We still use traditional techniques and materials, like the Goodyear welt and hide leathers. But for us it’s about combining what we know with the very latest components and manufacturing techniques. It’s the only way to keep up with the tough environments our footwear is designed for. Our classic boot, the V12 Boulder, was launched in 1998. A mix of traditional leathers and finishes, the boots revolutionised the market with Powerflex™ anti-fatigue soles and replaceable memory footbeds.

It set the benchmark for us – a potent mix of heritage and contemporary engineering. It’s what our brand name reflects today. And it’s how we’ve kept ourselves at the forefront of our industry. Our ultra-modern testing facility crushes, stretches and pummels every part of every new design – just to make sure that our footwear performs when you need it to. Full Strength Footwear Our premium range includes the classic V12 tough welted boot, but you’ll find the best quality materials and traditional manufacturing techniques throughout. Our premium boots are made for a lifetime of hard wear and come in a range of finishes and materials – from Nubuck leather to luxurious full-grain cowhide.

Built for extreme environments, our range of specialist boots has been tested to destruction. Used in the oil, gas and other specialist industries, every element of each design is carefully considered and made to the highest spec. By spending time with industry experts we’ve been able to develop a range of boots that can withstand the toughest working environments.

Inspired by the comfort of weekend footwear, this range also includes the safety features of a tougher work boot. We’ve used materials such as composite toecaps and lightweight rubber soles for daylong comfort.

Our range of contractor footwear is specially designed for hardworking feet. Although we offer extraordinary value, we still use the same manufacturing techniques as many of our premium boots. In fact, all our experience has gone into making this range of durable, affordable safety footwear.

The endurance solesOur technical outsoles are the result of extensive research and development with several highly respected British laboratories and have been cleverly designed to provide the greatest slip resistance on the widest range of surfaces possible.

V12 accreditationThe full V12 range has been tested and certified for EN ISO 20345:2011. We’re pleased to say that every design exceeds the new standard. But we didn’t stop there – we independently test our footwear on common surfaces such as Kennedy grating and scaffold boards in line with HSE recommendations.

Innovation in the extremeWe were approached by leaders in the oil and gas industry to develop an extreme performance boot. As well as a strong design criteria (the boot had to be lightweight, flexible, supportive, easy to wear, slip-resistant etc.) our new design had to exceed the latest safety standards. So, with the help of industry experts, we went back to the drawing board. Our research process was extensive – we trialled several materials, developed new components and tested the final design to the extreme.

The end result of over two years research and development is Defiant – a performance safety boot that more than matches the intense environments of the oil and gas industry. It exceeds all industry safety standards and has become the first choice footwear for the oil and gas workforce.

With a full bellows tongue and whole-cut leather upper, Thunder is made to keep out the elements. Constructed like a professional hiking boot, the design also features a robust speed lace system to make wearing them even more efficient and comfortable.

It’s why Invincible combines an advanced shock absorbency with a stunning waxed hide, easy access side zip, non-glint speed lace system and half bellows tongue with flex points. We’ve also used D30 in the ankle area for added protection as well as a cut away ergo collar, padded lining and heat resist sole – safety in the extreme.
