Don't Rub It On Until You Read!

Do You Really Know What's In Your Skincare Products? We use them all the time. Anti-aging face creams, body lotions, even soaps are supposed to add moisture to dry skin so it will look smoother, feel softer and appear more youthful. But do they really work as promised? Not many do.

Toxic Time Bombs. Aging is essentially the dying off of your cells; so effective skincare products should stop your cells from dying and provide nutrition to birth new life. However, most products on the market contain more damaging chemicals and preservatives than they do life-giving nutrients. These chemicals are toxins that are stored in the body's fat cells, and have harmful effects over years of continual use.

What Goes On Stays In. Put simply, everything you apply to your skin is absorbed by the skin, and feeds into your body. In fact, the average woman absorbs up to 5 POUNDS of damaging chemicals into their bloodstream EVERY YEAR thanks to harmful beauty and skincare products. Imagine the astounding total over your lifetime of daily use! Because our skin is the body’s largest organ, we must be careful in selecting the products we put on it. Even many so-called natural or organic creams, lotions and soaps have chemicals mixed with their few token natural ingredients that allow them to be marketed as natural and organic. Our Bodies Need Water, But Our Skincare Products Don't. The first ingredient in any product is always the substance that will have the greatest concentration overall. That's why it's very important to find products with a superior first ingredient. The most common in almost all skincare is water. Water is cheap, abundant, fills up the jar or bottle and cuts the cost of manufacturing the product. If a company is skimping and filling products with water, chances are they’re filling the rest up with cheap chemicals too. Not that water is bad. Water is great for us and beneficial to the skin. The problem is that an acid mantle accompanied by a thin layer of sebaceous oil makes our skin waterproof. So it's difficult for water-based products to penetrate the skin. Most water-based products will use harsh detergents or abrasives to break through the skin’s waterproof coating. Once removed, the skin is stripped bare, open to the elements, and very prone to drying out.
