There are a number of definitions of this term. Wired Style: Principles of English Usage in the Digital Age defines the term as "the whole digital enchilada - interactive, cable, broadband, 500-channel [...] then-Senator Al Gore Jr. introduced it at a 1978 meeting of computer industry folk, in homage to his father, Senator Albert Gore Sr." (71).The McGraw-Hill Computer Desktop Encyclopedia defines the term as "a proposed high-speed communications system that was touted by the Clinton/Gore administration to enhance education in America in the 21st Century. Its purpose was to help all citizens regardless of their income level. The Internet was originally cited as a model for this; however, with the explosion of the World Wide Web, the Internet became _________________________(464).The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) defines the term as "a route or network for the high-speed transfer of information; esp. (a) a proposed national fiber-optic network in the United States; (b) the Internet.“

April fools day prank by whom? In a bid on X, for X itself, Y has come out as the official winner. We saw that X was up for sale on their own site and since we have

a long going law suit against them for abuse of our trademark name Y, we wanted to be pragmatic and just use our immense profits to buy them. This will hopefully make us spend less time with the lawsuit.

Y will use the tools from X to make a better rating system. Then Y will divide X up into smaller companies and sell to the highest bidders. We see no use for an auction site since most stuff is available for free.

X.com will in the future be redirected to Y.org, and hopefully this will put Y into the top 5 internet sites today.

X coined a new type of journalism: “Scientific Journalism”. We work with other media outlets to bring people the news, but also to prove it is true. Scientific journalism allows you to read a news story, then to click online to see the original document it is based on. That way you can judge for yourself: Is the story true? Did the journalist report it accurately?

•He considers the growth of an idealized (biologically unrealistic) rabbit population, assuming that: a newly-born pair of rabbits, one male, one female, are put in a field; rabbits are able to mate at the age of one month so that at the end of its second month a female can produce another pair of rabbits; rabbits never die and a mating pair always produces one new pair (one male, one female) every month from the second month on. The puzzle that was posed:How many pairs will there be in one year?•At the end of the first month, they mate, but there is still only 1 pair.•At the end of the second month the female produces a new pair, so now there are 2 pairs of rabbits in the field.•At the end of the third month, the original female produces a second pair, making 3 pairs in all in the field.•At the end of the fourth month, the original female has produced yet another new pair, the female born two months ago produces her first pair also, making 5 pairs.•At the end of the nth month, the number of pairs of rabbits is equal to the number of new pairs (which is the number of pairs in month n − 2) plus the number of pairs alive last month.

X and Bluetooth are both short-range communication technologies which are integrated into mobile phones. To avoid a complicated configuration process, X can be used for the set-up of wireless technologies, such as Bluetooth.

X sets up faster than standard Bluetooth, but is not much faster than Bluetooth low energy. With X, instead of performing manual configurations to identify devices, the connection between two X devices is automatically established quickly — in less than a tenth of a second. The maximum data transfer rate of X (424 kbit/s) is slower than that of Bluetooth V2.1 (2.1 Mbit/s). With a maximum working distance of less than 20 cm, X has a shorter range, which reduces the likelihood of unwanted interception. That makes X particularly suitable for crowded areas where correlating a signal with its transmitting physical device (and by extension, its user) becomes difficult.

In contrast to Bluetooth, X is compatible with existing passive RFID (13.56 MHz ISO/IEC 18000-3) infrastructures. X requires comparatively low power, similar to the Bluetooth V4.0 low energy protocol. However, when X works with an unpowered device (e.g. on a phone that may be turned off, a contactless smart credit card, a smart poster, etc.), the X power consumption is greater than that of Bluetooth V4.0 Low Energy. Illumination of the passive tag needs extra power. X?

X is led by Y, a highly respected public icon in India. In 2001, Asiaweek listed him as "one of Asia's 50 most powerful communicators", and BusinessWeek declared him "among 50 leaders at the forefront of change in Asia". The December 2006 issue of The Guardian listed Y as one of "India's New Elite — Top 20?.

The first of these systems to be revealed was the Flybrid. This system weighs 24 kg and has an energy capacity of 400 kJ after allowing for internal losses. A maximum power boost of 60 kW (81.6 PS, 80.4 HP) for 6.67 s is available. The 240 mm diameter flywheel weighs 5.0 kg and revolves at up to 64,500 rpm. Maximum torque is 18 Nm (13.3 ft-lb's). The system occupies a volume of 13 liters. Two minor incidents have been reported during testing of this systems in 2008. The first occurred when the one of the team tested their _____ battery for the first time in July: it malfunctioned and caused a fire scare that led to the team's factory being evacuated. The second was less than a week later when a second team’s mechanic was given an electric shock when he touched ____-equipped car during a test.

In the early days of radio, equipment was experimental and home-built. The first radio transmitters used a noisy spark to generate radio waves and were often housed in a garage or shed. When radio was first adopted by the U.S. Navy, a small, wooden structure placed on deck to house the ship's radio equipment became known as the _____ _____. The term was soon adopted by military and hobbyist alike to describe any form of radio room. Today, amateur radio operators use the term to describe the space occupied by their radio gear, usually a room, but for some the entire _____ ______may consist of a hand-held radio or two while others may operate mobile equipment in a vehicle. In 1921, Theodore and Milton Deutschmann chose the name “_____ _____" for their radio parts retail and mail-order business in Boston, Massachusetts in order to appeal to radio enthusiasts.

The X effect is the tendency of a spellchecker to suggest inappropriate words to replace misspelled words and words not in its dictionary. The origin of the term is that the spelling "cooperation" was often changed to “X" by older spellcheckers with dictionaries containing only the hyphenated form "co-operation”. Users sometimes clicked "Change All" without checking whether the spellchecker's first suggestion was correct to begin with, resulting in even official documents with phrases like "as well as valuable experience in international X" and "and reinforcing bilateral and multinational X and assistance actions." Other examples include "South Asian Association for Regional X" and "presentation on African-German X."Other examples of the X effect case is "definately" being changed to "defiantly" instead of "definitely". Benjamin Zimmer of Thinkmap, Inc. and the University of Pennsylvania has collected many examples of similar errors, including DeMeco Ryans as "Demerol" (in the New York Times), Voldemort as "Voltmeter" (in the Denver Post) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement as "Muttonhead Quail.
