present an assignment: Rhonda Coetzer Hillcrest High School

Rhonda had her learners reada poem for homework and

comment about it on a specially created Facebook page. Learners read each other’s comments and “likes”. They were able to discuss the poem meaningfully in class the next day.

Pairs of learners learnt by heart a passage for two from their Shakespeare play. They then acted it out (no costumes) and videoed the performance. The videos were uploaded to YouTube.

Grade 12 learners had to recite and interpret one of their exam poems. They could use costume anddrama to do this.Their efforts were videoed and uploaded to YouTube for the class to see.
