Using your HISD iPad at Home

Step 1: Locate the Power button on the top right hand side of your screen just above the camera.

Home Button to return to the “desktop”

Step 2: Once the iPad gets to the Houston ISD logo screen, click on the Home button to launch the desktop.

Step 3: Locate the Settings button on your device.

Connecting to WIFI

Step 4: Locate the Wifi section on the left side menu bar and tap.

Step 5: Choose the Wifi network you want to connect to from the list provided on the right-hand side of the screen and tap. (If the Wifi you are trying to connect to requires a password, you will be prompted to enter that as upon tapping on the name.)
