Do not stream YouTube videos directly from YouTube in the classroom. This could result in inappropriate content and ads being displayed.
YouTube videos should be previewed and downloaded by teachers before class begins.
MediaConverter.org allows users to download appropiate educational YouTube Videos very easily.
Copy the URL web address (http://www) of the video that you
would like to download.
Paste the URL web address for the YouTube video that you
would like to download in this box.
Click OK
Click Go To The Next Step
You must choose the type of video file you would like to download.
WMV if you use a PC.
MOV or MP4 if you use a MAC, iPod, or iTunes on a PC.
ClickOK
ClickSTART
Your video will start to download.
You can use MediaConverter.org only 5 times during a 24 hour period.
When the status reaches Done, Click DOWNLOAD.
ClickSAVE
Choose where you
would like to save the
video and then click
SAVE.
The video will download. The larger the video the longer it will
take to download.
When it is finished the video will be located where you saved it.
