A file extension 3 or 4 letter code Tells the operating system what kind of file it is Not visible unless turned on

How do I start Windows Explorer?

Click on Start menu, click on Programs, click on Accessories, click on Windows Explorer

Press the Windows Key and the E Right-click on Start button and click Explore
