Career Decision Making (CDM-R) Internet Administration and Interpretation
Once users (i.e. students) have either purchased a User Name and Password or been assigned one by a counselor / teacher / administrator, they can log into the CDM Internet system!
User enters the user name and password that was assigned to them by their counselor or administrator
Once logged in, students will be immediately prompted to change their password!
Once they have changed their password, they click “Next” to start the assessment.
A summary profile will appear on the next five screens asyou make your choices, view a choice, change a choice, ormove to another selection

Once administrator or counselor has set up a Pearson account and purchased vouchers, they can login to the CDM Internet system and assign their student(s) administration(s).
Site Administrators’ user names are always their Pearson Account NumberAdministrator enters
the password that was Emailed to them when voucher(s) were assigned by Client Relations
NOTE: Pearson Account numbers are used to prevent any duplication of user names!
Administrators have the option of choosing one student a user name and password, or assigning many administrations at once.
When assigning one administration at a time, the administrator / counselor must make up a user name for their student and fill in their First and Last name.
NOTE: When the counselor enters a user’s E-mail address, an automatic E-mail is sent to the user with their User Name and Password.
If the E-mail address field is left blank, the password is automatically defaulted to become the user name.
i.e. Jane Doe’s User Name and Password would both be jdoe.
Once a user name has been assigned and saved, it will show up every time the counselor or administrator logs in.
If the counselor needs to change the user name or password, they can go back in by clicking on the student’s name and do so.
ADDED CONVENIENCE:Counselors/administrators also have the option of assigning a whole class their user names and passwords with one step.
Now generated, the names show up in their CDM Internet account.
The counselor/administrator can still go in and alter the name of the student/user name and password information or add an email address.
The counselor/administrator can keep track of when their students take the assessment.
The counselor/administrator can keep track of how many careers the students have bookmarked and the number of times viewed.
The counselor/administrator can also view and print the students’ results.
If the student has not yet taken their assessment, the counselor still has the option to delete the user and gain back that administration.
The counselor can always keep track of how many administrations they have left.
