Using Spectrum On Demand from MapInfo Pro
This will help you getting started with using the Spectrum On Demand service from MapInfo Pro.
The examples here are based on MapInfo Pro 64 bit.

- is a ”pay as you go” offering where you pay “per click”.
- has been integrated into MapInfo Pro for geocoding, find address and drive regions.

Click on Geocode using Server on the Geocode dropdown

Select table to geocode
Select what to update; input or create new table
Select geocode level
Specify specific country or to read it from the input
table
Click Next

Check this to save the settings to the metadata section of the
tab file

Specify how to store the location; as values in columns
and/or as the spatial point
Use Add Fields to add new columns if needed

Geocoding mode
Specify geocoding mode: Automatic can ignore multiple
matches or use the first
Common Options
How precise do you require the geocoded result or how precise
is your input data?
If address can’t be found, the geocoder can return centroid of postal code or other geographic
boundary
Advanced Output
Specify a key column to use to link the two tables, can also be
the ROWID
Interactive Geocode
Actions while in interactive mode

Create Drive Regions based on selected objects
Create Drive Regions based on an entire table
Select the server
Specify Time or Distance
Select wanted area size: Change value if needed and doubleclick to change style
For large regions, only major roads are supported
